What you’ll do:
Position title: SAP iXp Intern (f/m/d): BTP ABAP AI Developer
Work Area: Information Technology
Location: Walldorf
Expected start date: April, 2025

 

In this role, you’ll:

 

• Work with the BTP ABAP AI team in a ‘developer’ role
• Cutting Edge AI development: You will have the opportunity to explore various generative AI techniques, experiment with new approaches, and build innovative components.
• Integration with S/4HANA systems: Explore integration technologies with SAP S/4HANA systems to build seamless integrations
• Collaboration and Innovation: Build various Proof of Concepts which helps the ABAP AI team accelerate their development

Learning & Development Opportunities

• As part of one of our ABAP AI development teams you will gain deep insights in:
• S/4HANA Migration: Understand, explore and gain insights about S/4HANA migration
• Generative AI: Understand aspects of productive Generative AI architecture, development, pipelines
• Learning ABAP: Exposure and opportunities to learn ABAP

 

Who you are:

 

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

 

• Passionate about developing Generative AI solutions and data-driven interfaces, eager to apply advanced concepts to real-world solutions.
• Knowledge and past experience of Python for building machine learning and generative AI solutions
• Ready to tackle challenges in cross-platform development and create applications that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
• A team player who loves to collaborate with geographically spread international team with engineers, and AI specialists to build world-class applications.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, while German is desirable.
• Should have 12-18 months of study period left and be able to continue as a working student post internship, based on performance

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
