Objective

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst & Reporting Trainee to join our Industrial Engineering department at Schaeffler Huejotzingo. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with a passion for data analysis seeking to develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

As a Data Analyst & Reporting Trainee, you will assist Industrial Engineering team in data collection, analysis, apps development and reporting, gaining hands-on experience in various analytical tools and manufacturing processes.

This profile requires knowledge about analysis tools, statistics, and data modelling likewise strong skills to communicate findings from the analysis to the management and Industrial Engineering team in a clear and effective way.

English is essential for this role, as you will work closely with team members and external partners to manage projects and deliver high-quality materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to support ongoing projects.
• Help to prepare and maintain reports and dashboards to track key metrics and performance indicators.
• Develop apps for internal improvements within Industrial Engineering environment.
• Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
• Conduct basic statistical analyses and assist in interpreting results to inform business decisions.
• Participate in meetings to present findings and insights, contributing to team discussions.
• Support data quality initiatives by performing regular data validation and integrity checks.
• Learn and utilize data visualization tools to effectively communicate results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools and programming languages, such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R is a plus.
• Programming skills to develop apps with the required languages.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI and Excel.
• Solid understanding of statistical methods and data modeling techniques.

Additional Requirements

• Adept at report writing and presenting findings.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
