Robotics Software Engineer all levels (m/w/d)

Your mission

• You are part of a highly effective team developing automated complex systems (Ground-based and UAVs)

• Your mission consists of following parts:

  • You evaluate, select, adapt and integrate algorithms in the field of:

    • Environmental perception

    • 3D Object Tracking

    • 3D Mapping

    • UAV Localization

    • UAV Teaming

    • Sensor Calibration

  • Perform extensive tests of the robotic systems

  • Develop a modular and extensible sensor data fusion framework

  • Integrate hardware components

  • Liaise with the computer vision and acoustics experts in the team

  • Keep track of the current scientific publications in the field autonomous systems

  • Ensure a consistently very high quality of the overall system performance

Your profile

Must

• University degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Math, Physics, etc...

• Fundamental knowledge / extensive in C++ (and Python)

• Experience with: ROS2, OpenCV

• Rust is a bonus

• Intrinsic motivation, willing to go the extra mile, attention to detail
• Outside of the box creativity, conceptional & systematic design thinking, disciplined execution

• Highest moral standards and work ethic

• Fluent in English or German
