Embedded Software Engineer (UAV & Counter-Drone Systems) (m/w/d) all levels

Your mission

• Develop and optimize real-time embedded software (RTOS, Bare-Metal, Linux)
• Implement low-level drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet) and middleware
• Work on sensor integration (Radar, Acoustic, EO/IR, RF, Lidar)
• Optimize performance, power consumption, and memory footprint
• Ensure secure boot, cryptographic signing, and anti-jamming measures

Your profile

• 3+ years experience in embedded systems development (C, C++, Rust)
• Experience with ARM Cortex, FPGAs, DSPs, and Edge AI accelerators
• Strong knowledge of RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, QNX) and real-time scheduling
• Proficiency in low-level drivers & communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet)
• Expertise in real-time data processing, ISR optimization, and memory management
• Experience with low-power optimization for embedded systems
• Understanding of secure boot, cryptographic signing, and cybersecurity for embedded devices

• Experience with machine learning on embedded devices (TinyML, TensorRT, Edge TPU, Jetson)
• Knowledge of RF, radar signal processing, and electronic warfare techniques
• Experience with UAV flight control, PX4, ArduPilot, or swarm robotics
