BI Reporting Developer (PowerBI, SQL, Python)

Become a part of the team that delivers solutions for Asset Management Operations team, builds data transformations and provides reporting solutions to streamline business processes and adhere to financial regulations. You will work with a variety of tools and technologies and cooperate with multiple teams within the organization.

 

About the Role

In the role of a BI Reporting Developer, your core responsibility will be to maintain existing and develop new PowerBI dashboards, paginated reports and PowerAutomate flows. In addition, you will gradually write more and more ETL transformations in Python (polars, pyspark) and SQL.

 

As a member of our team, you will

• Work with a wide range of tools and technologies
• Debug, maintain and develop PowerBI dashboards, paginated reports and PowerAutomate flows
• Debug, maintain and develop SQL and Python data transformations
• Perform analyses of existing code, identify problems and propose solutions
• Analyze requirements, understand specifications and transform them into technical solutions
• Work closely with business analysts and business stakeholders

About the Team

Our team is a diverse mix of 10, working in hybrid setup with a footprint in different world locations, with majority of the team located in Bratislava. The team is part of Asset Management department, and we cover various topics, including regulatory reporting, data reconciliations, data reporting and process automation.

 

About You

Building PowerBI dashboards is your daily bread. You could build a semantic model, set up a data gateway or create a complex dashboard from your sleep. DAX is your second language. You are an advanced SQL user, can write complex queries and DB views. You regularly use Python and you are able to write simple data transformations. You are eager to level up your Python game and make it your core strength. You are willing to upskill in Palantir's Foundry platform (python, SQL ETLs and low code, no code configurations).

 

Essentials

• University degree or equivalent experience in a technical role 
• 5+ years of daily working experience with PowerBI, PowerAutomate, SSRS
• 1+ years of relevant working experience with Python
• Solid knowledge of SQL and working experience (Oracle and/or PostgreSQL)
• Sound communication skills with stakeholders across an organisation, with good command of English

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Jira, DevOps, Azure
• Knowledge of financial products, asset management topics

 

 

For Slovakia the base salary range for this position is between  2400 EUR and 4100 EUR per month (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,

• the applicant’s own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based bonus.
