The Opportunity
As a Senior Data Scientist you will be responsible for delivering high quality outcomes by applying the right fit-for purpose solutions in collaboration with other stakeholders and team members within the same business line.
RSS is a global division with regional presence in Latvia, Switzerland, India, Hungary, Costa Rica and Malaysia. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be expected to
Integrate and apply state-of-the-art language processing models and algorithms to extract insights from large volumes of text data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using NLP techniques.
Mentor and guide other chapter members, providing technical support and expertise.
Present findings and insights to stakeholders through clear, concise, and compelling reports and presentations, communicate ideas for team Analytics & Automation and willingly receive feedback for self-improvement.
Create and manage documentation for different data science / data engineering projects.
Collaborate in an agile and cross-functional team with other Data Scientists, Automation experts as well as business experts, so our Roche peers and patients will receive AMAZING solutions.
Who You Are

You have a Bachelor’s Degree (Masters is a plus) in mathematics, computer science, statistics, engineering, or information science.
You have at least 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in a multicultural environment with global processes (Commercial, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT)
You have 2 years of professional work experience in:
Utilizing machine learning frameworks and libraries to build, train, and deploy NLP models (LLM experience is a plus), and
Integrating your solution within AWS and/or GCP and leveraging services provided by AWS and/or GCP.
You are a strong team player with interpersonal skills and strong collaborative and solution-focused mindset.
You possess strong communication, networking skills, you are someone who enjoys working with others and acts as a team player.
You want to contribute to solving business problems, taking on what tasks are necessary to make valuable solutions come to life.
You have extensive experience with stakeholder management.
English is a must, additional languages are a plus.

Salary starts from 2800 EUR gross/monthly. Final salary depends on the successful candidate's level of experience, skills and qualifications.
