Teladoc Health Inc. seeks Clinical Data Scientist III (Multiple Openings) at its facility located at 2 Manhattanville Road, Suite 203, Purchase, NY 10577. To focus on creating data products, analyses and machine learning models that predict and explain behavior of clinical participants(patients and healthcare providers) and operational or clinical outcomes across multiple conditions. Create new algorithms that improve Teladoc Health’s ability to measure and predict member experience and clinical risk. Operates fluidly with clinical, business analytics, client reporting, product personalization and product analytics to solve the most important businessproblems. Characterize clinical outcome measures for internal product decisions and for external product marketing. Report on clinical performance to external entities such as the CDC and the AADE. Manage client reporting and billing analysis in areas of subject matter expertise. Build personalized data products that enable human decision making and power aspects of TeladocHealth’s products directly. Telecommuting: 100% Telecommuting.
REQS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Public Health, Information Systems, Epidemiology, or a related field plus 5 years of experience as a Clinical Data Scientist, Epidemiologist, or occupation involving statistical analysis or data modelling of healthcare related data. In the alternative the employer will also accept a master’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Public Health, Information Systems, Epidemiology, or a related field plus 3 years of experience as a Clinical Data Scientist, Epidemiologist, or occupation involving statistical analysis or data modelling of healthcare related data. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Statistics and machine learning (including inference, causal modelling, and supervised machine learning); (2) Study design, bias, and bias mitigation strategies; (3) Presentation of scientific research findings; (4) Programming data pipelines, statistical analyses, and machine learning algorithms; (5) Engineering cadence, habits and tools (github, jira, dags or docker); and (6) Translating vague requirements into impactful data science projects efficiently. Telecommuting: 100% Telecommuting. RATE OF PAY: $ 170,373.00 to 170,373.00 per year
