Brand Data Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose
- Expert and go to person for Data management ( Dataiku, Assortify, PLM, SAP, Bcom, YXX)
- Supporting the data coordinators in their roll. Improving systems and data management
- Reducing data errors and get system readiness to 100%, to ensure key deliverables
Critical Results
- Own and Set up a network of cross functional partners to achieve primary purpose related to data and system readiness.
- Own creation of tools to implement weekly checks to reduce down system and data errors.
- Responsible for all Merch topic related set up in Assortify, YourXX and Bcom. Implementing improvements and simplification for Merch and assorting.
- Support merch ops data related system improvement initiatives
- Partner with IT / Customer Service to ensure product activation completion through systematic checks
- Partner with sizing team to ensure accurate PO’s created by minimizing size discrepancies between systems
- Defining and executing data collection strategies to gather relevant information
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning
Roles and responsibilities
- Data management: Ensuring the availability, quality, and security of data used by the merchandising team and cross functional partners
- Data analysis: Investigating and interpreting data to identify actionable insights and opportunities for improvement
- Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions and drive business growth
- Communication: Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Job Requirements
Minimum Education Required:
- Bachelor in business analytics or data science, or related field preferred.
Years and Type of Experience Required:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Data management
- Knowledge of merchandising and Operations functions
- Experience in data mining
- Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
- Knowledge of R, SQL and Python
- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Dataiku)
- Hands-on experience with data science tools
- Data management experience
Functional Competencies:
- Advanced in Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel/ Powerpoint)
- Programming Skills – knowledge of statistical programming languages like R, Python, and database query languages like SQL, Hive, Pig is desirable.
- A fast-paced, multi-tasker with cross-functional project management capabilities
- A high energy individual who is passionate about the brand
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong collaborative and negotiation skills
