Overview
A certified electromagnetic transducer (EMAT) in-line inspection (ILI) analyst. Responsible for analyzing pipeline EMAT ILI tool data with TDW's proprietary software to accurately detect, identify, and size anomalies in pipelines and report on the current conditions of customer pipeline systems.
Key Responsibilities
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Visual analysis of pipeline integrity threats such as linear indications through proprietary EMAT data analysis software.
Attend scheduled meetings and training to ensure adherence to current TDW initiatives and processes.
Maintain and acquire the necessary skills to obtain and maintain industry-required analysis certifications.
Create reports to produce a comprehensive overview of pipeline integrity.
Work under and meet strict deadlines.
Coordinate with the software development team in bug identification and software enhancements.
Effectively work and communicate in a team environment.
Basic understanding of pipeline design, operation, and integrity practices.
Experience
REQUIRED: Current or recent certification as an EMAT ILI Data Analyst Level I, II, or III according to the ANSI/ASNT ILI-PQ-2023 standard. (A minimum of one year of EMAT analysis experience).
High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understanding of EMAT physics and sensor response.
Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented and analytical.
Ability to perform analysis of visual-based data.
Proficient computer skills and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Good basic mathematics and science skills.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to learn new internal software programs.
