As a Data Engineer in our team you will design, develop and implement data and analytics in Google Cloud Platform and pipelines which acquire, cleanse, transform and publish data. Assemble large, complex data sets which meets functional and non-functional business requirements. Analyze data quality, designs, and implements robust data pipelines that enhance our data quality analysis and drive continuous improvement. Partner with data asset managers and architects to ensure technical solution provides data which is fit for use and in line with architecture blueprints. Leverage coding standards and best practices to ensure efficient and re-usable services and components.

Job Qualifications

• Experience: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field with experience working in Google Cloud Platform
• ETL Tools: Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and frameworks for data integration and transformation.
• Programming: Proficiency in programming languages such as PySpark, Python, and SQL for data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
• Data Modeling: Knowledge of data modeling techniques and experience with data modeling tools.
• Data quality: Experience building data pipelines for data quality monitoring and improvement.
• Database Technologies: familiarity with databases (e.g., Cloud SQL) for data storage and retrieval
• Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and experience with data warehousing technologies such as Big Query.
• Data Governance: Knowledge of data governance principles, data security, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and experience implementing data governance practices.
• Data Visualization: Experience of working with Looker Studio to build semantic data model & BI reports/dashboards.
• Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data-related issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in diverse, multidisciplinary teams
