Job Description:Consultants for various and unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S (HQ: Chicago, IL). Deliver and lead business intelligence to Senior Management and Financial Services customers on multiple projects. Independently extract data and perform segmentation and statistical analyses on large population datasets. Conduct research on consumers, growth of key industry and products. Translate complex analytical findings into business insights. Serve as an internal subject matter expert (SME) on both traditional and short-term research projects including lending credit data and how it applies to industry trends and current research. Deliver analytic insights and recommendations in succinct and compelling communications and presentations for internal and external customers at various technical levels including an executive audience. Make recommendations on analytics projects. Prioritize and ensure deadlines are met. Eloquently describe and present analytic ideas, requirements, processes and findings in
non-technical terms. Mentor Sr. Analysts and Analysts. Technical Environment: segmentation and statistical analyses on large population datasets using statistical programming languages (R, SQL, and Python on Linux and PC computing platforms); SQL queries; descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis using segmentation, regression, clustering, survival analysis, and machine learning); MS Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Job Requirement:
Master's degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Analytics or related Quantitative field plus 2 years of experience in Analytics or statistical models/analysis required. Skills required: Experience with SQL queries for data extraction; acting as SME on analytics research projects; advanced proficiency with statistical programming languages (R, Python); proven time management skills including prioritizing and contributing to multiple assignments simultaneously with evolving deadlines; demonstrated track record delivering strong research studies and analyses for multiple analytics projects; presenting complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences, including executives. Telecommuting Permitted.

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $94,000/yr- 139,938/yr. annually. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may also be eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
