We are looking for:
Data Governance Manager (freelance)
Your future role:
- Developing, running data management maturity assessments using well known assessment models, with particular emphasis on DAMA guidelines,
- Designing and developing data management operating models (various domains like data governance, quality, architecture),
- Creating high quality and detailed documentation defining Data Governance policies and procedures,
- Developing RFPs (functional and technical requirements) for digitizing data management & governance operations,
- Outlining data architecture and data integration patterns, designing Data Governance artifacts such as data dictionaries, business glossary, data models/ERD, defining data quality processes and KPIs, implementing metadata management standards,
Apply if you have:
- A minimum of seven years' experience working with data in a corporate setting including min two years in implementation of data management or Enterprise Information Management programs,
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best data management practices (particularly DAMA),
- Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures and data management plans,
- Excellent verbal and written business communication skills - ability to act as a consultant, prepare management presentations, lead workshops etc.,
- Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with ability to summarize complex issues and share it effectively with management,
- Ability to work independently as well as part of client, IT and business teams,
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related fields,
Nice to have:
- Experience with data privacy and security regulations (e.g. GDPR, NDMO),
- Knowledge of data management tools and technologies, such as Informatica, Collibra.
