BI Data Analyst

The Role:

This role will be required to contribute to the overall BI Finance project’s progress, anticipate risks, resolve issues, and initiate corrective action as appropriate to deliver results promptly. The candidate needs to have Hands-on experience with SQL and any of the standard ETL tools. The successful candidate will have experience in developing database solutions to ensure company information is stored effectively and securely. The candidate is expected to have domain knowledge around Finance like invoicing, reconciliation, commercials/deals, etc. Also, the candidate should be a self-starter, with strong attention to detail, vocally self-critical, with an ability to work in a fast-paced.
Detailed Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop database solutions to store and retrieve company information.
• Develop Revenue Models using SQL or any language.
• Ensuring commercials are up to date.
• Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements.
• Optimize new and current database systems.
• Communicate Regularly with involved business leaders on the status and progress of projects.
• Take the lead in resolving roadblocks, conflicts, and other challenges on reconciliation projects.
• Work with the Data Engineering team, Business Analyst’s team, as well as Finance to ensure all DWH numbers align with business needs.

Skills & Competencies: 

• Excellent analytical skills & Quantitative skills: Proven analytical and quantitative skills, and tools to perform analysis. Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop project business cases
• Strong project management and communication skills: This role requires interaction with various teams across the company. Project management qualifications and experience are advantageous but not a must. You enjoy leading projects and working with people and can align teams towards a common goal.
• Attention to detail: While understanding the big picture, you are an organized and detail-oriented person. Nothing gets missed on your watch and you can lead projects to completion.
• Working to the highest standards, even under pressure: You’re ambitious, hold yourself to high standards and thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
• Passion for i-gaming: You love games and want to be part of a winning team. 

Requirements:

• Work experience in the iGaming industry is a plus.
• 3+ years of working experience in the IT field.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL or stored procedures.
• Prior experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience in any BI Tools and MS Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
• Should be able to think strategically and execute methodically and tactically.
• Ability to manage multiple, competing for priorities simultaneously.
• History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
