What’s this role about?
Reporting into the Operations Lead, the Senior UAT & Data Analyst will oversee, drive, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Data Governance across both Commercial and Consumer lines within the Singapore Branch. This role will support the Operations Lead in developing and motivating business and UAT analysts while implementing a User Testing Acceptance framework that will enhance our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities
- UAT Oversight and Execution:
- Oversee, drive, and execute UAT activities across both Commercial and Consumer lines, ensuring a high-quality product release.
- Produce, implement, and continuously improve a User Testing Acceptance framework for the Singapore Branch.
- Plan, monitor, and control UAT activities for systems and products within the Commercial and Consumer domains.


Data Governance and Stewardship:
- Assume the role of Data Steward across all applications within the Singapore Branch, elevating data as an enabler.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and appropriate classification (Availability, Confidentiality, Integrity) while driving compliance with organizational rules and standards.
- Recommend strategies for data cleanup across all applications and raise immediate concerns along with proposed solutions.
- Verify existing information changes and ensure necessary data is available during project kick-off phases.


Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and motivate Business & UAT Analysts, producing targets and objectives that align with business goals.
 - Conduct 1:1 meetings and performance reviews to support team development and enhance performance.


Testing and Documentation:
- Develop comprehensive testing programs, including test data, test cases, and UAT test plans, ensuring test cases are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
- Document and track risks and issues experienced during testing and work with the Operations Lead to produce policies for testing in both test and production environments.

Execute effective tests based on input from project and product managers, and coordinate test execution and resources on various platforms with different devices.

Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with project managers and product owners to discuss project status and address any potential issues that may arise.
- Document UAT results and provide daily or weekly status reports on progress, while offering feedback on project and product performance.
- Represent the Singapore Branch in any APAC projects requiring country testing sign-off.
Operational Improvement and Compliance:
- Initiate and implement operational improvement plans to drive productivity and efficiencies, noting successful past use cases to improve future testing outcomes.
- Ensure all relevant policies and standards are followed and regularly review, update policies, standards, and SOPs on an annual basis.
- Collaborate with Data Protection, Legal, and Compliance teams to remain aware of regulatory requirements impacting data governance.


Troubleshooting and Verification:
- Serve as part of the resolution team for troubleshooting and debugging both production and UAT issues.
- Complete Live (Production) verification as part of any system implementation to validate application functionality and usability before broader user access occurs.

Desired Qualifications & Skillset
- 3-4 years industry experience
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
- Line management experience is advantageous
- Be meticulous, tech savvy and discipline whilst managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, with high adaptability
- Good project management skills and agile software testing practices
- Mature, independent, and driven team player under pressure
- Pro-active decision maker with effective change management skills
- Ability to read test scripts and scenarios
- Ability to identify potential issues before deployment
- Proficient in written and spoken English. Mandarin is desirable
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Access
- Familiar with software quality assurance best practices
- Experience in policy registration / underwriting and accounting systems is preferred
- A will to win and a very strong & positive CAN DO attitude
