JFrog Security is one of the main pillars of JFrog’s long-term strategy. We are looking for a motivated Senior Data Engineer, experienced in guiding and monitoring, with a high level of professional and personal integrity. As a Senior Data Engineer at JFrog Security you will...

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to handle large volumes of data from various sources, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Develop and implement data crawlers to extract data from web applications and APIs.
• Optimize data extraction processes to respect rate limits and ensure efficient data retrieval while minimizing the impact on source systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data ingestion.
• Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship and technical feedback to other engineers on the team.
• Initiate and promote new ideas for continuous improvement of tool functionality.

To be a Senior Data Engineer at JFrog Security you need...

• 7+ years of programming experience in Python/C++/Java/C/Go 
• Experience with web scraping frameworks (e.g., Scrapy, Beautiful Soup) and API interaction (REST, GraphQL).
• Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) — an advantage
• In-depth understanding of data modeling concepts and efficient database management (SQL and NoSQL databases).
• Knowledge and hands-on experience working in a modern CI environment: version control, build tools, and CI servers
• Experience with production mission-critical systems
• Knowledge of Open Source libraries, tools and frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
