Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE: 

As an Automation Developer, you will have a chance to join our Operation Excellence team, focusing on building digitalized solutions, implementing, and optimizing the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to streamline production process & enhance efficiency, virtually monitor order/ WIP/ machine status, and ensure accurate data management within the factory. You will be a part of an agile team and able to apply Business Process Analysis skills to address real-world issues in the fast retail industry. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Design, and develop software modules for production data management, traceability, and process optimization.

• Integrate MES with production equipment, PLCs, IoT, and other related systems.

• Aiding in integrating these applications with existing data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and efficient operations within the production environment.

• Collaborate with different departments (IT, production, maintenance) to gather requirements and implement suitable solutions.

• Contributing to the documentation of these applications and their functionalities.

Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

1. Technical Skills

- Frontend Development:

• Build responsive, high-performance frontend applications using ReactJS (or other frameworks like NextJs, VueJS).

- Backend Development:

• 2-5 years of experience working with Nodejs.

• Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Python and Nodejs.

• Strong skills in clean code practices and application performance optimization.

• Experience with high-traffic, real-time systems using Queue, Message Broker, Event Streaming, and Caching.

• Develop, optimize, and manage SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Database & API 

• Knowledge of microservices architecture, Redis, RabbitMQ, and MQTT.

• Experience working with API Gateways.

- Others

• Knowledge of Git, Jira for version control.

• Proficient in PHP, Python programming languages.

• Experience with AI and Machine Learning concepts and applications is advantageous.

2. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering or other related majors

• Problem-solving: Ability to identify and solve technical data analysis and modeling challenges.

• Learning Agility: Eagerness to learn new concepts and technologies quickly.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to work meticulously and ensure the accuracy of results.

• Versatility in Work Environment: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills and adept problem-solving abilities.

• Willing to research new technologies: Research new technology to meet and improve projects with specific requirements.
