What will I be doing?
ü GIS Administration: Administer enterprise GIS systems, provide technical support to GIS users, troubleshoot common GIS software and data issues, and off guidance on data retrieval and usage.
ü Data Management: Organize, store, and maintain geospatial data (both raster and vector) enforcing consistency and proper metadata documentation.
ü Cloud Deployment & Infrastructure Management: Deploy and maintain GIS infrastructure such as ArcGIS Enterprise in a cloud environment.
ü ArcGIS Online and Server Management: Manage the Agency’s ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Datahub systems including account and content management.
ü Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including those involved in transportation, environmental modeling, and socio-economic modeling, to ensure the data products they produce and consume are up to date.
Key Qualifications
ü Experience with the ESRI GIS Platform: Proven experience using and managing products in the ESRI software suite including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Hub, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise.
ü Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python and SQL for data and user management automation.
ü Collaborative and Communication Skills: Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
ü Problem-Solving and Innovation: Ability to continuously learn, test and adopt new technologies.
Do you have…
ü A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant academic discipline such as Geography, GIS, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Data Science, or a related field.
ü 3 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, educational institutions, or in roles that involve data visualization, GIS, or related duties.
Preferred Qualifications
ü A Master’s degree in Geography, GIS, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Data Science, or a related field.
ü Practical experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and cloud environments.
Expected Hiring Salary Range
$70,000.00 – $80,000.00
