What You'll Do:

  • Lead the Charge in Data Governance & Compliance: Partner with business units to establish best practices for data stewardship and compliance. You’ll ensure our data is always handled with care, and meets the highest standards.

  • Design Data Architecture for the Future: You’ll provide strategic input on data architecture improvements, ensuring our systems (data lakes, data warehouse solutions, and more) are built to scale, secure, and optimize our analytics capabilities.

  • Create Stunning Dashboards & Analytics Solutions: Using platforms like Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Snowflake, you’ll design dynamic, interactive dashboards that help business leaders make better decisions faster.

  • Optimize Data Pipelines: Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure that reporting and analytics data flows smoothly, with high availability and accuracy.

  • Champion Data-Driven Decisions: Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and profitability improvements, driving better decisions through data.

  • Solve Problems Like a Pro: Perform root-cause analysis of data anomalies and operational inefficiencies, crafting long-term solutions that lead to better outcomes.

  • Shape the Future of Data Literacy: Mentor junior analysts, helping them grow into data experts and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in data capabilities across the organization.

  • Advise Senior Leadership: You’ll serve as a senior advisor, providing insights and strategic recommendations that guide key decisions and maintain regulatory adherence.

  • Stay Compliant, Stay Secure: Ensure we’re always audit-ready and uphold the highest standards of data security and governance.

What We're Looking For:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required (Master’s preferred). If you’ve got the experience to back it up, we’re open to considering that as well!

  • Experience:

    • 7+ years in business intelligence, data architecture, and advanced analytics.
    • Expertise in modern platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.
    • Advanced SQL skills and extensive experience with data visualization tools (Power BI is a must!).
    • Solid background in designing and optimizing scalable data pipelines in financial services.
  • Skills:

    • Strong communicator who can translate complex data into easy-to-understand insights for non-technical stakeholders.
    • Highly collaborative, with the ability to work across departments to turn business needs into actionable data solutions.
    • Deep understanding of data governance and regulatory requirements.
    • Advanced analytical and decision-making abilities to solve complex business problems.
  • Tech Savvy: You’re a pro with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, and SQL. Bonus points if you have experience with cloud-based data processing and automation!
