Our client, a leading energy distribution company in Belgium, is actively working on its Smart Grid initiatives as part of the energy transition.

As part of its Data Governance team, our client is seeking a Senior Data Quality Analyst to ensure high-quality data that fuels its digital transformation and AI-driven projects.

The Senior Data Quality Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring that key datasets meet quality standards, enabling the effective implementation of Smart Grid technologies. This position involves detecting and resolving data quality issues, conducting root cause analysis, and training data producers on best practices.

Data Quality Assurance:

Identify, analyze, and address data quality issues proactively.

Root Cause Analysis:

Investigate and document data inconsistencies and integrity issues.

Process Optimization:

Develop and implement data governance strategies to ensure sustainable data quality.

Training & Change Management:

Educate business users and data producers on best practices in data management.

Collaboration:

Work closely with AI & Data Governance teams, business stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and usability.

Monitoring & Reporting:

Track data quality KPIs, document findings, and report progress to senior management.

Key Requirements Education:

University degree in IT, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years in a Data Analyst or Data Quality role.

Strong SQL and Python skills for data profiling and analysis.

Experience with data profiling tools such as Soda or Great Expectations is a plus.

Familiarity with SAP ECC, S4/HANA, or SAP SAC Analytics is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Ability to document and communicate data quality rules and findings.

Strong problem-solving skills and autonomy in data-driven decision-making.

Capacity to work in a cross-functional team within an energy or industrial environment.

Languages: French (C1 level) - Required English
