The Team – your impact

As a Professional Analytics Engineer (f/m/d), you will be a key player in designing and developing data-driven solutions that enable smarter decision-making across our organization. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, business experts, and infrastructure specialists to build scalable analytics platforms. Your contributions will help optimize operations, improve efficiency, and drive sustainability efforts.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop data solutions that impact all E.ON countries.

• Design and implement data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) structured and unstructured data.

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports to visualize data insights and support business decisions.

• Support machine learning and AI initiatives by integrating analytics modules into operational cloud services.

• Ensure data quality, stability, and performance through best practices in version control, CI/CD, and agile development.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in analytics, visualization, and cloud computing.

Your Profile – authentic & open-minded

• A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• Passion for mathematics, statistics, and data visualization.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Apps, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Python for data processing and analytics.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and cloud-based data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, or similar).
• Any experience with SAP, in particular SAC is considered as a plus.
• Understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus).
