Responsible for functions involved in maintenance, analysis, and reporting of pricing activities.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  2. Identify opportunities for price optimization and revenue enhancement through the analysis of buying programs, discounting, and quoting practices.
  3. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and product management to align pricing strategies with overall business goals and initiatives.
  4. Lead the process of setting and approving prices for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with pricing guidelines, profitability targets and competitive positioning.
  5. Manage and approve quotes in Salesforce and JDE for the sales organization.
  6. Assist with the periodic (monthly, quarterly, annual) financial close process with a focus on performance metrics and dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies and track performance against targets.
  7. Responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the pricing data.

 

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Drive continuous process improvements in pricing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.
  2. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners while effectively communicating pricing strategies, insights, and recommendations.
  3. Preform analysis to determine optimal pricing for products by evaluating and considering production costs while considering competition, regulations and market conditions.
  4. Mentor and develop Pricing Analyst.
  5. Assists with special projects as assigned.

  • When supporting production activities, appropriate personal protective equipment should be worn at all times.

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Education requirements BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years in pricing, financial reporting, and analysis experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience or knowledge of JDE Enterprise 9.2 a plus 
  • Experience with analytical software a plus

 

This is an in-office role in Phoenix, AZ.
