Job Description

The Analytics Solutions Architect role is responsible for designing and delivering customer-centric analytics solutions, maintaining data architecture standards, and acting as a trusted, customer-facing analytics expert. This role will build and enhance scalable reporting frameworks while developing custom reports, dashboards, and integration solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a mix of technical expertise, process-driven thinking, and creative vision to shape the future of analytics within the organization, directly supporting external customers
with tailored reporting and actionable insights.

This position is full-time, exempt, remote and based in the United States. Employee may be required to travel occasionally, up to 10% annually. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation and maintenance of standard reporting frameworks, including entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), data dictionaries, and schema tables.
  • Develop and manage customer-facing analytics reports and dynamic dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or SAP Analytics, ensuring usability and impact.
  • Act as an internal analytics expert and external point of contact, gathering customer requirements and providing consultative solutions that meet their analytics needs.
  • Maintain and optimize data integration processes, ensuring smooth data flows and alignment with business use cases.
  • Use SQL, Python, R, and DAX to support data modeling, complex queries, and custom calculations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Customer Success and Product, to align reporting strategies with evolving software capabilities and customer goals.
  • Build scalable, replicable reporting processes to streamline future reporting efforts and maintain quality control.
  • Map out customer usage patterns to identify distinct user needs and future goals, creating a strategic roadmap that differentiates between user types
  • Drive the adoption of analytics tools and reporting best practices, providing training and resources to support internal and external users.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Software Knowledge

  • Expertise with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, SAP Analytics, or similar platforms.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, DAX, and Java for data manipulation, modeling, and automation.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, ERDs, schema design, and data governance.

Soft Skills

  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Experienced in customer-facing roles with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and trust.
  • Creative problem solver with a vision for the future of analytics and experience driving innovation.
  • Skilled in presenting complex insights, facilitating engaging presentations, and guiding data-driven conversations.
  • Strong process-oriented mindset to ensure scalability, consistency, and repeatability of analytics solutions.
  • Self-starter with a passion for building programs from the ground up and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or technical reporting.
  • Demonstrated success in developing customer-driven reporting solutions and leading the design of scalable analytics tools.

Additional Information

Compensation Package:

  • Base pay range:  $100,000-120,000 USD Annual (12 Months) 
  • Placement within our pay range will vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and market location variations as well as internal peer equity.
  • This position is also eligible for an annual company performance bonus.
