Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:  Position Title: Junior Business Intelligence Analyst Location: Remote What you will be doing: We are seeking a motivated Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our retail and marketing strategies by analyzing data, developing interactive dashboards, and ensuring data integrity using tools like SQL, Azure, Power BI, and Excel. As part of the Business Intelligence & Analytics department, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven decision-making. • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends and insights that support specific business objectives in retail and marketing.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize highly interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to dynamically visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze data using SQL and Azure to ensure accuracy and reliability in data-driven decision-making processes.
• Support data integrity and perform quality assurance tasks to maintain database health and accuracy.
• Utilize Excel for data analysis, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling to address and solve business problems effectively.
• Manage and query smaller datasets using SQL-lite, ensuring database optimizations are aligned with business goals and tasks.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable analytical solutions.
• Present analytical findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring clarity, impact, and facilitating strategic decision-making.
• Assist in developing documentation and training materials to support the adoption and usage of business intelligence tools by end-users.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Power BI for developing and maintaining highly interactive dashboards and visualizations.
• Intermediate skills in SQL for data extraction, querying, and management in enterprise-level databases, particularly with Azure solutions.
• Intermediate skills in SQL-lite for data management tasks and querying.
• Strong skills in Excel for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Familiarity with retail, marketing, and customer analysis concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong business acumen and a genuine curiosity about business processes and data.
• Previous experience in a data analysis or business intelligence role is preferred.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and practices is preferred.
• Experience working in a retail or marketing environment is preferred.

Good to Have:

• Experience working with Python.
• Basic knowledge of R.
• Jupyter notebooks experience.
