Role Title: Product Expert– ITSM, ITOM, Big Data

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our B2B department as a product expert with a focus on IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Service Management (ITSM) & Big Data solutions hosted on cloud. This role is critical in transforming innovative tools and services into market-ready B2B products, driving their commercialization, and ensuring they meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relevant area coupled with product management and B2B commercialization expertise, with a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling technology products.

Key Responsibilities

o   Collaborate with partners and platform team to define, design, and develop market-ready products and services focused ITOM, ITSM, & Big Data.

o   Translate technical capabilities into customer-centric value propositions, ensuring products align with market needs and client pain points.

o   Develop product roadmaps, feature sets, and pricing strategies for IT monitoring solutions.

o   Design and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new and existing products.

o   Identify target markets, customer segments, and key differentiators to position products effectively in the B2B space.

o   Work closely with sales, pre-sales and channel planning teams to drive product adoption and revenue growth.

o   Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes in B2B space.

o   Gather customer feedback and insights to refine product offerings and ensure they meet client expectations.

o   Analyze competitor products and strategies to identify gaps and opportunities for differentiation.

o   Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch, scaling, and eventual retirement.

o   Monitor product performance, usage metrics, and customer satisfaction to identify areas for improvement.

o   Ensure products remain competitive by incorporating new technologies, features, and enhancements.

o   Work closely with partners & platform team to ensure product features align with technical capabilities and client requirements.

o   Partner with marketing teams to develop compelling product messaging, collateral, and campaigns.

o   Collaborate with sales & pre-sales teams to provide training, product demos, and support during the sales process.

o   Develop and manage pricing models, ensuring profitability while remaining competitive in the market.

o   Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue from existing clients.

o   Track and report on product performance, revenue, and market share.

o   Work with customer success teams to address client concerns, gather feedback, and improve product offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management, and commercialization in B2B technology/cloud space.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong understanding of key ITOM, ITSM & Big Data tools and technologies (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, Tableau, Power BI)
    • Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT)
    • Familiarity with data integration & ETL processes
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms and IT infrastructure.
  • Business Acumen:
    • Proven ability to develop and execute successful GTM strategies.
    • Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
    • Experience in pricing strategies, revenue models, and profitability analysis.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong leadership and collaboration skills to work across teams and drive results.
    • Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Revenue growth from the assigned product portfolio
  • Time-to-market for new product launches.
  • Adoption rates and usage metrics for launched products.
  • Product innovation & portfolio diversification
