Technical Lead (Generative AI Implementation)

Overview

FedWriters is building a team to mature, operate, maintain and enhance the United States Security and Exchange Commission's (SEC) production OIT AIML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) Tech Foundation and its hosted production pilot products, implement AIML governance services, and establish model metrics evaluation and risk management frameworks.  In this role you will provide technical leadership and expertise to guide the development and implementation of AI/ML solutions while ensuring best practices in model deployment, evaluation, and risk management across the SEC's AIML technology stack.

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

Work Schedule and Location:Hybrid: This full-time hybrid position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional onsite work in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

Technical Lead for Generative AI Implementation.

• Lead GenAI and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) feature development
• Conduct benchmarking exploration and analysis
• Monitor and evaluate model performance
• Guide best practices for LLM implementation
• Lead testing of AWS Bedrock and related tools
• Optimize unstructured document/content analysis solutions
• Provide technical consultation on LLM integration

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrated recent experience (within past 3 years)
• Minimum 12 months performance in similar roles
• Federal agency AIML experience required
• SEC domain experience preferred
