AI/ML Governance SME

Overview

FedWriters is building a team to mature, operate, maintain and enhance the United States Security and Exchange Commission's (SEC) production OIT AIML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) Tech Foundation and its hosted production pilot products, implement AIML governance services, and establish model metrics evaluation and risk management frameworks.  In this role you will develop and implement AI/ML governance frameworks, risk management policies, and compliance strategies while providing technical guidance to ensure responsible AI adoption across SEC's enterprise systems.

**This position is contingent upon contract award**

Work Schedule and Location:

Hybrid: This full-time hybrid position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, with occasional onsite work in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Provide industry and intra-government governance best practices consultation
• Conduct market research on AI governance trends
• Develop and maintain risk management frameworks
• Design and implement governance structures
• Guide development of robust governance frameworks
• Advise on regulatory compliance and best practices
• Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies

Qualifications

• Must have demonstrated recent experience (within past 3 years)
• Minimum 12 months performance in similar roles
• Federal agency AIML experience required
• SEC domain experience preferred
