Our portfolio of innovative solutions is designed to provide customers greater freedom and better health, helping them achieve better glucose control, while spending less time managing their disease.We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Analytics Project Manager to lead and manage high-impact analytics-driven projects within our Diabetes Business, particularly focusing on MiniMed IQ initiatives. This role demands a strategic leader with extensive experience in SCRUM methodologies and a strong background in data analytics. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects that align with business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
Location: Hybrid, based in Northridge, CA or Atlanta, GA.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end analytics projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and successful implementation of MiniMed IQ initiatives
Employ SCRUM methodologies to plan, execute, and deliver projects, including facilitating ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews while fostering a culture of agility and continuous improvement
Collaborate with stakeholders, data scientists, analysts, and IT teams to define project scope, deliverables, and success metrics
Manage project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, proactively resolving challenges to maintain project momentum
Drive effective communication and reporting across teams, ensuring transparency on project progress and outcomes
Monitor and report on project performance using appropriate tools and metrics, ensuring accountability and adherence to established standards
Promote best practices in project management, analytics, and agile methodologies across the organization
Must Have Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field with 10+ years of Project/Program Management experience, with at least 3 years managing analytics or data-driven projects
Or, Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or a related field with 8+ years of Project/Program Management experience, with at least 3 years managing analytics or data-driven projects
Preferred:
Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Analytics, or related field)
SCRUM Master certification
PMP Certification
Expertise in SCRUM and Agile methodologies, with a track record of successful project delivery
Proficiency with analytics tools, processes, and frameworks (e.g., data visualization, predictive modeling, machine learning)
Strong experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, MS Project, and PowerPoint
Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data management platforms
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Experience in managing enterprise-wide analytics platforms or data transformation projects
Ability to navigate and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
Ability to use discretion when handling confidential information
