The opportunity:
Join a team leading in the use of Microsoft CoPilot, leveraging AI to enhance decision-making and accelerate the transition to a new energy future. This 24-month role is a unique opportunity to bring your expertise and innovation to contribute to the use of Microsoft Power Platform within our business.
Your responsibilities will involve:
- Leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and AI to empower the business to accelerate and improve decision-making.
- Utilizing diverse datasets, predictive analytics, and financial modelling techniques to create impactful visualizations and develop value driver trees. Emphasis will be on automation to improve self-service reporting capabilities.
- Recognizing opportunities to automate planning, analytics, and reporting procedures.
- Generating comprehensive and concise reports that simplify complex data into actionable insights customized for diverse audiences.
- Constructing value driver trees to prioritise factors significantly influencing the organization's financial and operational success.
- Applying advanced data modelling techniques to convert raw data into structured, meaningful information for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Collaborating closely with key internal stakeholders to deliver in-depth financial reports, forecast analysis, trend identification, and strategic long-term planning.
The people you'll join:
Located in our Virginia office, you will be a key member of the Planning and Analytics Team within Powerlink's broader Finance and Governance Division, reporting directly to the Planning and Analytics Lead. This team is renowned for its innovative approach to ways of working, utilising industry leading technologies.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics or similar with experience in analytics and automation workflows
- Demonstrated experience in Power Platform including Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps
- Strong expertise in Power BI including DAX, Power Query (M) and advanced data visualisation techniques.
- Experience working with analytics services in cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of use of Artificial Intelligence preferably Microsoft Co-Pilot or similar
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration and influencing decisions
- Knowledge of Planning, Analytics, and ERP systems preferred
