The AI & Data team in EY’s Technology Consulting practice is continuing to pivot to the new and grow its advisory capabilities in AI and data driven business transformation. We are currently looking for an exceptional Salaried Partner level consultant with strong experience of shaping, selling and delivering AI and data centric technology solutions to join our team and drive success in the UK and Ireland. Working closely with EY’s impressive breadth of business and people advisory service lines offers as wholesome experience of fundamental transformation in the age of AI.

The opportunity
The AI & Data practice works collaboratively with our clients to enhance their ability to solve complex business problems by exploiting data and AI strategies and solutions. We provide expertise and delivery in four complimentary areas:

• AI and Data Strategies – Provide thought leadership and help clients shape their AI transformational journeys
• Data Modernisation – Helping clients manage data as a strategic asset as the foundation for future AI driven ways of working.
• AI and Advanced Analytics – Embedding AI and advanced analytics to improve business and operating models with special focus on complex reasoning with LLMs
• Agentic AI – Intelligent automation with emphasis on the use of AI agents to develop new shorter paths to value creation.

Your key responsibilities

• Elevate EY’s AI & Data brand with our corporate clients through a combination of thought leadership and external events
• Business development; including the development of long-term trusted advisor relationships with our clients across the C-suite (CEO, COO, CTO, CIO, CDO, CAIO). You will lead pursuits and RFP responses
• Contribute to our Data and AI solution design and implementation expertise bringing expertise around cloud-based data and analytics solution design and implementation combined with a deep understanding of sector domain, processes and data.  You are comfortable working with clients and other EY colleagues within Business consulting to support client engagements and develop thought leadership around data and technology.
• Lead large and complex projects (Data Transformation, Data Analytics, Data Strategy) from strategy to execution.
• Effectively leverage your knowledge and experience to support the delivery of key Data and AI projects, nurture valuable relationships both within EY and with clients, and develop strong capabilities through both formal training and working with senior mentors and talented colleagues
• Build and lead high performing teams, coaching, mentoring and serving as a role model for our people.

Skills and attributes for success

We’re looking for people with a track record of developing and delivering new business opportunities within a consulting environment. You should have relevant technology and programme management qualifications to own and lead engagements.

To qualify for the role you must have some or all of the following:

• Prior data and analytics experience
• Expertise in our core capabilities of: 
  • Data Architecture & Data Engineering 
  • Data Management & Strategy 
  • AI & Advance Analytics
• Demonstrable experience of delivering complex data programmes 
• Developing and contributing to business development and Go-To-Market activities in the Data and Analytics space. You will lead RFP responses and thought leadership papers.
• Expert level knowledge of the data requirements and design issues associated with the delivery of data projects.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrable experience of building high performing teams and nurturing talent
• Awareness of the emerging technology trends including adoption of cloud-based technologies, generative AI, modern data management capabilities
• Industry knowledge in asset intensive industries where AI and Data can be used successfully to deliver business transformation
• Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to liaise with both technical and business contacts at our clients.
• Ability to successfully deliver multiple engagements, exceed client expectations, manage commercial aspects (e.g. contracts, billing and budgets), and manage quality and risk
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and manage large cross functional projects
• Intellectual strength / flexibility to rapidly understand complex problems and rationalise  these into workable solutions which can then be delivered
