HR Analytics & Insights team is responsible for the design & analysis of Comcast’s employee lifecycle surveying program as well as workforce reporting and analysis for HR Partners and Business Leaders.
Role Description
As an intern in the HR Analytics & Insights team you will assist in analyzing workforce data, generating insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in workforce analytics and contribute to various HR projects.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In your role, you may work on a variety of projects including deep analysis of employee sentiment, perceptions of the employee experience and identifying opportunities to improve the employee and customer experience. Additionally, work along side with seasoned team members to collect and analyze feedback from internal stakeholders to improve internal workforce analytics tools.

Success in this role is characterized by delivering actionable insights to key executive stakeholders and ensuring HR teams are equipped to effectively consult with their business partners on making data driven workforce decisions.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collect, clean, and analyze HR data from various sources.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of HR dashboards and reports.
- Support the HR team in identifying trends and patterns in employee data.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for HR leadership.
- Collaborate with HR team members on various projects and initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all HR analytics activities.
- Participate in meetings and provide insights based on data analysis.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with data visualization software is a plus.
- Basic understanding of HR principles and practices is a plus.
- Preferred Majors: Psychology, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
- Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
- Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
- Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $25.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
