Our medical robotics team at ZEISS is looking for a highly motivated intern to contribute to research and development in robotics, computer vision, or augmented reality for next-generation medical applications. A hands-on research experience in robotics, augmented reality, and computer vision
The opportunity to develop and test proof-of-concept prototypes for real-world healthcare applications

The possibility of continuing as part of a Master’s thesis project
Work on the development of next-generation medical devices
Design, implement, and test computer vision, robotic and augmentation solutions for medical applications
Develop and showcase test systems and prototypes using state-of-the-art technologies
Plan and conduct experiments and demonstrations to validate concepts
Collaborate with a team of engineers, medical experts, and researchers
Present and discuss research findings in team and department meetings
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, medical technology, physics, photonics, or related fields
Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, or C#
Knowledge or experience in robotics, computer graphics, augmented reality, or computer vision
Ideally, experience with 3D graphics
Creative, pragmatic, and self-motivated with strong analytical skills
Capable of working independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
Excellent organization, problem-solving & communication skills in English and German
Passion for innovation and enthusiasm for new technologies as well as motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams
