Data Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Support the analysis of personnel plans, programs, and policy, and documentation associated with all facets of such analysis, such as briefs, papers, visuals, and dashboards. Provide analytic support to HR accession plans, enlisted goaling policies promotion, and force shaping. Conduct direct liaison with action officers and program managers across the enterprise, as well as all other enterprises and enablers, to support the personnel, plans and policy requirements. Provide continuum of program management and analytic support to action officers, program managers, and analysts.   

Basic Qualifications: 

• 7+ years experience working in a professional enviornment

• Experience solving complex organizational problems using data and statistical analysis

• Experience developing data visualizations and dashboards

• Ability to conduct research on personnel plans and policies to inform analysis and recommendations

• Ability to coordinate with HR enterprise stakeholders to conduct analysis, develop products, and discuss ways to address issues with personnel plans, programs, and policies

• Ability to use Microsoft Office 365 Suite to develop work products, such as briefs or papers 

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Law, Engineering, Social Sciences, Physical Science, Applied Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Management Information Technology

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience in the Navy or military, such as officer or enlisted, and MyNavy HR

• Experience working in OPNAV or other headquarters staff

• Experience using enterprise data analytic platforms and tools, such as Jupiter or Advana

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform

• Experience with the POM and PPBE process

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
