Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI) is developing patient-and provider-centric solutions rapidly and securely. About the team:
As a member of Oracle Health's Customer Operations and Product Support Organization, you will be instrumental in designing and building data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze vast amounts of product observability data. Your work will directly impact our ability to gain actionable insights and improve the performance of our products.
A successful candidate will bring a passion for problem-solving, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work closely with software engineers, product managers, and operations teams. About the position:
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines to ingest, transform, and store product observability data from diverse sources such as logs, metrics, and traces.
- Collaborate with product teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions to enable comprehensive observability of product performance.
- Build scalable and efficient data infrastructure to support real-time monitoring and analysis of product telemetry data.
- Implement robust data quality and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of observability data.
- Work closely with data scientists and analysts to develop advanced analytics and visualization tools for product performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building data pipelines for observability or monitoring data.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Elasticsearch, etc.
- Strong understanding of observability concepts and tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Solid grasp of database systems, SQL, and data modeling principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS Services and/or related technology experience, Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development.
