About the role

Join the Corporate Services Team as a Bilingual Senior Analyst Finance, Process Optimization and Data Analysis. You will be responsible for supporting the team in its efforts to reduce the complexity and variability of processes in accounting operations and procurement in accordance with the strategic priorities and best practices of the Corporate Process Redesign. You will participate in the smooth running of all projects and ensure that engagement around business processes is on target, on time and on budget. In addition, you will research company data and participate in the development of new reports. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Initiate and advance projects to significantly improve the productivity of accounting operations and procurement, as well as the client and employee experience.
  • Participate in the needs intake by analyzing the needs of an operational team and assessing opportunities to improve their processes while documenting desired changes.
  • Search the corporate data dictionary for data required for the development of new accounting operations and procurement reports.
  • Create simple reports using Power BI, SQL or others and work with IT teams to develop more complex reports.
  • Contribute to good data governance by participating in metadata documentation, as well as reporting identified issues.
  • Establish and maintain quality relationships with project team members to create synergies between business lines or reinforce existing ones in order to improve process efficiency.
  • Provide learning and evolution opportunities with the Power Platform to implement simple automated workflows while having access to several latest technologies.

 

What you should have:

  • University degree (undergraduate) in accounting, business administration, science or engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience, with a knowledge of Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) software.
  • Intermediate skills in data analysis, or high interest in learning.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and initiatives at the same time.
  • Excellent interpersonal and active listening skills (tact, judgment and diplomacy).
  • Open-minded and passionate about learning and exploring new ideas and opportunities.
  • Bilingualism (English, French).
