The Role

Neo Financial is searching for a Senior Data Analyst you will be joining a data-driven, cross-functional team focused on optimizing business performance through analytics and insights. In this role, they will own the end-to-end analytics workflow, defining success metrics, generating insights, and developing scalable reporting solutions. They will collaborate closely with stakeholders to lead weekly metric reviews, uncover key trends, and drive informed decision-making. This position is ideal for a proactive problem-solver with strong SQL skills, experience in data visualization tools, and a passion for turning complex data into actionable strategies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the entire analytics workflow, from defining success criteria to generating insights and developing hypotheses and performance metrics.
• Build intuitive dashboards and reports, and design scalable analytics solutions and data models to support business needs.
• Lead cross-functional weekly metric reviews, collaborating with partners to dive deep into key metric fluctuations and drive informed decision-making.
• Foster a data-driven culture by promoting standardized metrics and a shared understanding of business health across teams.
• Proactively analyze data to identify opportunities for enhancing user engagement, driving growth, and improving profitability.
• Tackle ambiguous challenges by structuring problems, developing hypotheses, and designing actionable experiments.

Who We're Looking For

• A highly motivated, proactive individual who thrives in fast-paced, data-driven environments.
• Strong expertise in SQL (ability to work quickly, without needing "pretty" code).
• Experience with visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI.
• Knowledge of A/B testing and data-driven experimentation.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to turn data insights into actionable business strategies.
• Strong communication skills for conveying complex data insights to both technical and non-technical teams.
• A self-driven, passionate individual who can push the team to improve and grow.
