Job Overview: We are seeking a Data Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. This role involves close collaboration with product owners, developers, and project managers to define, prioritize, and validate testing data requirements, ensuring the data quality, accuracy, and integrity of various reports and data sets requested by business users.

Requirements

• Work closely with the Business Analyst to gather requirements, understand business needs, and define objectives related to required data elements.
• Analyze data requirements, clarifying any uncertainties with business stakeholders.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Validate reports to ensure objectives for data quality, accuracy, and consistency are met.
• Create SQL scripts to build and validate data sets, identifying discrepancies and inconsistencies.
• Communicate any data-related issues using established processes.
• Support business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide technical assistance.
• Design and maintain automated test scripts using advanced technologies.

Experience:

• 5+ years in QA Data Analyst/ETL testing/Data quality testing roles.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server (TSQL).
• Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the education sector.
• Agile/Scrum team experience.
• Familiarity with TFS, MTM, and MS Test tools.
