Job Description

The role of Master Data Specialist includes: 

  • Act as a Master Data user in SAP ERP, manage global Master Data objects (creation and changes of business partner master data) and ensure both data quality and integrity  

  • Communicate with stakeholders to acquire necessary information and resolve issues related to Master Data maintenance  

  • Participate in identifying and implementing controls and procedures to prevent fraud incidents  

  • Contribute to improving Master Data processes  

  • Participate in internal control and reporting tasks  

  • Incorporate Master Data from acquisitions and projects  

  • Identify and resolve technical and process-related issues  

  • Provide user support and user trainings 

You will be part of a skilled and close-knit team managing Statkraft Group’s Master Data. This central process impacts many operations and interfaces with various functions. Emphasis is on accuracy, particularly related to Master Data quality and fraud prevention. 

The position reports to Team Lead Masterdata, GBS Finance.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Master Data Specialist with the right mindset and skills to help our team. That includes:  

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or equivalent. 

  • Personal Qualities: Critical mindset, curious, methodical and detail-oriented. 

  • Technical Proficiency: Able to quickly learn new processes and functionalities. Interest in automation and digitalization. Data handling experience is a plus.  

  • Communication and Teamwork: Collaborative team member with excellent communication skills, proficient in both verbal and written English. 

  • Software Knowledge: Experience in SAP is an advantage.
