About the role

At Tietoevry Care’s Data & AI unit we are reshaping healthcare and social care services by providing our customers with data- driven solutions and cloud data platforms. Our Data & AI team consists of high-end professionals working in data science, data engineering, data modelling, data advisory, cloud solutions, security and software development.

As a Senior Data Integration Engineer, you will participate in planning and developing data integrations, the data integration architecture and related tools for the Lifecare Data Platform. As a key member of our Data Integrations team, you will play an essential role in these efforts. In your role, you will also participate in our day-to-day operations, supporting our growing customer base in their integration needs, while effectively communicating with other stakeholders and development teams.

To succeed in this role we would like you to have

• Strong background in data engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services, with specific experience in ADLS, ADO, etc.
• Hands-on experience in developing integrations with Databricks, knowledge of Azure Data Factory is a plus
• Several years of professional software development experience including CI/CD automation
• Several years of hands-on experience with large-scale data integrations
• Proficient knowledge of networking in cloud environments, including networking security aspects
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Scala and Python
• Passion to build great products and solve complex customer problems
• Confidence and willingness to take responsibility, honesty and openness as a member of a team

We are often working from different places, sites and countries so we expect excellent communications skills and habits especially in English. Ability to communicate in Finnish is highly valued.
