We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Integrity & Identity team. This team is an enabling function within our Responsible AI pillar, focused on helping business functions implement technology and automated solutions to enhance compliance with personal data legislation and adhere to data management best practices. 

Reporting to the Director, Data Integrity and Identity, this role is responsible for creating an enterprise approach to handling cookies and other digital tracking technologies. The successful candidate will work with stakeholders to implement cookie banners, classify cookies, and develop enterprise frameworks, process documents, and policies to ensure compliance across the organization.

This role is ideal for someone with a keen interest in how technology and automation can be leveraged to improve the handling of personal data on a global scale.

About the Role:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive cookie management strategy, ensuring alignment with privacy objectives and global compliance requirements.
  • Utilize the OneTrust cookie module to manage and categorize cookies and online tracking technologies, providing guidance on classification and language requirements for cookie banners.
  • Collaborate with business functions to embed cookie management controls within their technology frameworks.
  • Create and maintain process documents and policies to advise on compliance with cookie-related regulations and best practices.
  • Participate in the analysis of various tracking technologies, supporting compliance with jurisdictional regulations and organizational standards.
  • Prepare engaging socialization materials to communicate the value and achievements of the Cookie Compliance program to stakeholders.
  • Leverage MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), Azure DevOps, PowerBI, and Lucidchart to support reporting and program communication efforts.

About You:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a data analyst role, with specific experience in cookie compliance, data governance, or privacy.
  • Demonstrated experience with the OneTrust cookie module and implementing cookie banners.
  • Experience with creating process documents and policies to guide business functions in compliance initiatives.
  • A degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
