Hourly base pay rate is $23.65 - $35.48/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Job Description

JOB DUTIES

• Assist in developing and maintaining data governance policies, standards, and documentation.

• Support data quality initiatives by analyzing data sets, identifying inconsistencies, and recommending improvements.

• Help create and manage data dictionaries, business glossaries, and metadata repositories.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and alignment with business requirements.

• Contribute to data stewardship activities by tracking data lineage and ensuring adherence to governance frameworks.

• Assist with reporting and dashboard development to monitor data governance KPIs.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Currently enrolled in a related degree program such as Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering majors 

  •  Basic analytic skill. 

  • Strong background in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Statistics. 

  • Background using Microsoft tools mentioned above. 

  • Detail oriented and able to meet project timelines through good time management and work prioritization. 

  • Oral and written communications skills, as well as presentation skills. 

  • A positive attitude, determination, and humility. 

  • All STEM majors are encouraged to apply. 

  • Intermediate to advance analytical skills. 

  • Background or relevant coursework in any of the following areas: Mathematic, Statistics, Data Scientist, Computer and Information systems and Programming. 

  • Ability to conduct thorough research and use the findings to inform decision making. 

  • Python, PySpark, SQL or other coding and visualization skills are highly preferred.

Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.
