Data Architect/Data Migration SME

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect/Data Migration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team on a federal government project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing data models, developing migration strategies, and ensuring data integrity across Salesforce and legacy systems. You will be responsible for developing and managing Salesforce data models, designing ETL processes, implementing data governance, and optimizing data performance to ensure smooth migration and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data models, migration strategies, and processes that ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with legacy systems.
• Develop and manage Salesforce data models and relationships to optimize data storage, indexing, and retrieval performance.
• Design and implement ETL processes for migrating legacy data into Salesforce.
• Enforce Salesforce data governance policies, ensuring data security, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead efforts to ensure compliance with data retention policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and execute strategies for data validation and reconciliation throughout the migration process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for data management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, providing expert guidance on data architecture and migration strategies.

Requirements:

• US Citizenship
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in data architecture, data migration, and Salesforce implementation.
• Proven experience designing and managing Salesforce data models, migration strategies, and integration with legacy systems.
• Strong expertise in ETL design, Salesforce data governance, and security policies.
• Experience with optimizing data storage, indexing, and retrieval performance.
• Must have at least one active Salesforce certification.

• In-depth knowledge of federal data standards and regulations.
