We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Commercial team. This role involves supporting the team by analyzing and interpreting data to inform key business decisions, track performance metrics, and contribute to revenue-generating strategies. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and excited about using data to drive commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance for commercial insights.
- Performance Tracking: Support tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) across various commercial functions, helping to identify trends and performance gaps.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Assist in gathering and analyzing market and competitor data to support commercial strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
- Report Preparation: Prepare regular reports, visualizations, and dashboards to communicate findings to commercial stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.
- Revenue and Sales Support: Work with the sales and finance teams to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and identify revenue growth opportunities.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Communicate findings and insights effectively to marketing, sales, and product teams to support strategic decision-making.
- Ad-hoc Analysis Requests: Handle ad-hoc data requests from the commercial team to address immediate needs or specific inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Data Science is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Excel, Google Sheets, SQL); familiarity with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, spot trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights in an understandable way.
- Attention to Detail: Highly detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all data analysis and reporting.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience or internship in data analysis, business analysis, or a commercial role is a plus.
- Exposure to data visualization, SQL, or other analytical tools will be advantageous.
