Job Overview:

Supply Chain Autonomation is responsible for predicting what customers want to buy and automating the inventory ordering process. We create a daily demand forecast for all Coupang’s Retail SKUs, every day. We work with internal stakeholders to solve challenging Supply Chain problems at scale.

Our systems ensure Coupang’s customers are delighted with consistently available products. Autonomation supports scale and efficiency of our Supply Chain processes. Responsibilities:

• Utilize code (Python, R, SQL etc.) for extracting, analyzing, and structuring data to facilitate insightful business decision making
• Build decision models using statistical tools
• Run simulations and build forecasting models factoring in constraints and a wide range of variables and outliers
• Build reporting tools, measure performance, and provide insights explaining variances
• Provide root cause analysis affecting key business problems
• Actively communicate with a wide variety of people and support solution implementation
• Work with an Agile cross-functional team of Data Scientists, Product Owners and Engineers to build world-class systems

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant working experience in an analytical role involving data extraction, analysis, statistical modeling, and communication
• 3-5 years relevant experience in e-Commerce, Retail or Supply Chain industry
• Strong knowledge of statistics
• 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and dashboarding (eg. Tableau)
• Prior experience in building and maintaining ETL jobs, data pipelines etc.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal & external business partners

Preferred:

• Proficiency in statistical software package such as R or Python
• Experience in forecasting and trend analysis
• Ability to represent the analysis outcomes using insightful and easy to understand spreadsheets and presentations
• Ability to convey rigorous technical concepts and considerations to non-experts
• Analytical thinker, quick decision maker, diverse set of experiences enabling a wide perspective to observe problems from various angles and create the best possible solution for customers and internal stakeholders
