Job Description

Role Purpose (Why your role exists)

This role exists to be the direct support to the business unit lead that provides an MIBI function that include but is not limited to:

· The Design of new reports

· Data Visualisation – SSRS, Power BI and Tableau

· Capturing new requirements

· Project Managing new requirements to land new clients / LOB’s

· Maintaining stakeholder engagement

· Creation and Maintenance of input sheets (absence, QA etc)

· Ensuring continued timeously delivery and accuracy of reporting

· Working with Operations and clients to understand business problems and providing insights through data that enables data driven decisions

You will be responsible for:

· Working with the MIBI Business Unit Leads to drive account performance through the delivery of accurate, automated reporting

· In order to deliver insights you will be responsible for supporting the Business Unit Leads with the creation of end to end solutions which includes problem definition, data exploration and visualization,

· Maintaining a working knowledge of the operation in order to ensure that we deliver accurate timely reporting

· Will be accountable for ensuring all reports are updated, accurate and on time each day

· Ensures adherence to company and department policies and procedures

Qualifications Required

Essential

· Matric/Grade 12 Certificate

· Hold:

o A diploma or equivalent in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Informatics or other similar fields

· Minimum of 2 years working experience in an MIBI reporting function

Preferred

· A degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Informatics or other similar fields

· BPO/Contact Centre experience across multiple functions is preferred but not essential

 

Experience Required

Essential

· Minimum 2 years’ work experience in a MI/BI role

· End to end experience and understanding of:

o Data Mining (sourcing of data points)

o Extract, Transfer & Load process

§ Data extraction, manipulation and maintenance (Microsoft SQL Package , R, SAS, Excel)

o Database structures

o Visualization of Data to support campaigns or clients with actionable insights to support decision making (Tableau, SSRS, Excel, PowerBI)

§ SQL – Intermediate to advanced

§ Tableau - Intermediate to advanced

§ Power BI - Intermediate to advanced

§ Excel – Advanced

§ Python - Basics

o Project management

o Stakeholder management

 

Preferred

· Exposure to CRM algorithms

· Working towards and understanding in statistical analysis (basics of Python & C#)
