The Wealth Management Data Solutions (WMDS) organization provides direct technology support for core engineering products, operational data products and data analytics. About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to help lead modernization and migration efforts as Wealth & Investment Management Technology, (WIMT) seeks to build and modernize a robust cross-product data warehouse leveraging Oracle and Informatica. In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale software planning for the Technology area

  • Design, develop, and run tooling to discover problems in data and applications and report the issues to engineering and product leadership

  • Review and analyze complex software enhancement initiatives for business, operational or technical improvements that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors

  • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted data engineering situations requiring understanding of software package options and programming language and compliance requirements that influence and lead Technology to meet deliverables and drive organizational change

  • Strategically collaborate and consult with internal partners to resolve highly risky data engineering challenges


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 5+ years of strong experience in SQL and Data Analysis

  • 2+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter,

  • 2+ years of experience with UNIX scripting

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in development of data pipelines/ETL for data ingestion, transformation, and integration

  • 5+ years of experience in relational DBMS platforms, Oracle preferred

  • Experience with IDMC is a plus

  • Good working knowledge of Python, YAML, and automated testing practices

  • Substantial analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Position offers a hybrid work schedule

  • Ability to work additional hours as needed

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
