Position Overview
The Data and Reporting Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, organizing, and reporting on revenue-related data to support key decision-making within the Revenue Accounting team. This role requires strong technical skills, including proficiency in Salesforce, Right Rev, SQL, and data visualization tools, to provide actionable insights and ensure data integrity. The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams to create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics that drive revenue performance visibility. With a focus on leveraging data to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in revenue reporting and a passion for data analysis.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize revenue-related reports using tools such as Salesforce, RightRev, SQL, Excel, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Extract and analyze Salesforce and RightRev data to support revenue recognition and reporting needs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (ASC 606).
- Collaborate with the Revenue Accounting team to design and deliver customized reports, dashboards, and revenue performance metrics.
- Conduct regular reviews of data integrity within Salesforce and other systems, ensuring completeness and alignment with financial records.
- Support the month-end close process by preparing data-driven insights and validating revenue journal entries.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve the quality of revenue data management.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis and provide insights to Finance, Sales, and Executive teams to support decision-making.
- Stay up to date with developments in Salesforce reporting and best practices in revenue reporting.
What you'll likely bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, financial reporting, or revenue reporting, ideally in a SaaS or technology environment.
- Proficiency in Salesforce reporting and data extraction is essential.
- Advanced skills in SQL and Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data modeling.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of revenue reporting processes and familiarity with ASC 606.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Range:
