The Digital Readiness Office in NLB steers public education programmes and initiatives at the libraries, to prepare Singaporeans to be future-ready in a Smart Nation.
We are starting a three-year project around developing experiential tech-based showcases that aim to encourage citizens to use technology in their daily lives, across evolving areas such as Generative AI.
We are looking for someone with creative imagination and passion to advocate the use of contemporary technology, to join us in developing exciting services that will inspire the public to try new ways of doing things. Experience in events and exhibition management and creative campaigning is preferable.
[What you will be working on]
Job Responsibilities
• Design and implement experiential showcases that will attract and resonate with members of the public.
• Practise diligent project management such as keeping to timelines, work planning, data capture and analysis, and ensuring high quality service delivery.
• Plan and drive a vibrant calendar of deployments across different libraries and partner venues and spaces.
• Propose marketing and campaign ideas and approaches, based on keen understanding of target audience behaviors.
• Design and deploy fun and engaging programmes that complement the showcase learning experiences for visitors.
• Capture quantitative and qualitative performance indicators to review and reiterate the design and impact of the project.
• Research and keep up to date on the shifting trends and thought-leadership in Generative AI and other tech related subject matter, for content refreshes and updates.
• Work with colleagues, partners and vendors to align how the showcase experiences come together for visitors.
[What we are looking for]
Job Requirements
- A personal or professional interest in Generative AI, ideally from use case / platform perspective.
Development / technical skill in AI / ML / LLMs is not required.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in creative events and campaign engagements, and related project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills in English.
Good to have:
- Experience in working in small, agile teams.
- Fluency in additional mother tongue languages.
- Experience in UX and/or gamification strategies and approaches.
Successful applicant will be appointed on a two-year project contract.
