Software Engineer for Cloud Native Applications

We specialize in the development of telecommunication products in collaboration with leading global telecom vendors. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Software Engineer for Cloud Native Applications with a strong software development background to work in the domain of mobile network nodes (native and virtual).

Responsibilities

As a member of our product development team, you will:

• Work on advanced technology solutions in areas such as 5G, OpenRAN and cloud-native telco networks
• Develop and enhance virtualized and containerized mobile network nodes in collaboration with leading technology providers worldwide
• Contribute to the full software lifecycle, including development, deployment, testing and support
• Participate in solving customer cases and technical issues
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including systems engineers, AI/ML experts and DevOps professionals
• Adopt a DevOps mindset and work within an Agile environment

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Strong experience in at least one of the following programming languages: C++, Java, Python, or Go
• Familiarity with virtualization and container technologies (e.g., libvirt, Docker)
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline creation using mainstream tools such as Jenkins
• Familiarity with software development environments and verification frameworks (e.g., Git, GitLab, GitHub, CircleCI, Sonar)
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Nice to Have

• Good knowledge of telecommunication networks and/or IT network protocols
• Familiarity with 5G RAN architecture
• Experience with Go/Python unit testing frameworks
• Prior development experience with Django
• Knowledge of cloud systems and containerization platforms (e.g., OpenStack, VMware vSphere/ESXi, OpenShift, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of cloud-native tools (e.g., Helm, Envoy, Prometheus)
• Experience in microservices development (e.g., client-server architectures, REST APIs)
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems programming (e.g., eBPF, gRPC sockets)
• Solid understanding of Linux networking
• Exposure to AI/ML or Data Analytics frameworks (e.g., pandas, Keras, Torch, TensorFlow, Ray, Kubeflow, Langchain/LangGraph)
• Experience with UI frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript-React)

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present team activities at international events, summits and meetups
• Passionate about emerging technology trends in cloud and enterprise computing
