Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of environmental data
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all projects
- Utilize Microsoft Access, EQuIS, and SQL for data management and analysis
- Develop and maintain data visualization dashboards using Power BI
- Lead and mentor a team of data managers, providing guidance and support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data needs are met
- Implement best practices for data management and quality control
- Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Data Science, or a related discipline
- Advance degree preferred
- 8-10 years of experience managing environmental data
- Experience in environmental consulting or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Access, EQuIS, and SQL
- Proficient in one or more coding languages (e.g., R, Python)
- Experience with data visualization using Power BI
- Experience communicating with environmental laboratories
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to self-manage and lead a small team
- Excellent communication skills
