What you’ll do

At Vodafone, we acquire, process, and manage vast amounts of data to power our day-to-day operations. Being able to efficiently locate, interpret, and use this data is critical to improving business performance, making smarter decisions, and meeting our customers’ digital service expectations.

As a Data Governance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in embedding and driving the adoption of our Management Information (MI) Data Governance Framework across Group and Local Markets. You’ll ensure our data is accurate, reliable, and effectively governed—delivering impact across the business and aligning stakeholders on key reporting processes.

  • Lead the adoption of MI Data Governance across Vodafone, ensuring data quality and governance principles are embedded across Group and Local Markets.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure reporting proposals are clear, well-structured, and aligned with decision-making processes.
  • Drive KPI simplification across Group and Local Markets, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and strategic alignment.
  • Enhance data quality processes by leading regular reviews and collaborating with teams in Budapest to maintain the accuracy of reported data.
  • Enable transformation through innovation, working towards standardised, automated, and centralised data governance solutions to streamline operations.

  • Data governance expert with experience managing business-critical data processes, ensuring compliance, and optimising data strategies.
  • Finance & reporting savvy, with a solid understanding of financial KPIs, business processes, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Strong business partner who can influence and collaborate across a complex, global organisation.
  • Analytical thinker with a strategic mindset, able to align governance initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Clear communicator who can translate complex data topics into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Discretionary yearly bonus: 10%

  • Maternity/adoption leave: 52 weeks out of which the first 13 weeks are fully paid followed by 26 weeks of half pay and 6 months - working 4 days, getting paid 5
